THE SHADE
When I founded Shades Dance Theater in the fall of 2020 my idea was to create a space where there was "something for everybody." I wanted to create a place where I could tell the stories of my life on stage and where everyone from different backgrounds could see themselves reflected in my work. You can see your stories, your experiences,and your fantasies manifested on stage. At Shades, We are a safe space for art. You can be anything you want, and you can feel anything you want. . After leaving a Shades show, it is my hope that you will be moved by what you saw — that you will feel educated, uplifted, energized, and transformed. As we begin our journey to captivate audiences all over the world, we hope that you would consider making a donation to our cause.
